If you are looking for a Real Estate agent that will work for you and that you can trust …….then Doug Rooks is your agent. Doug recently sold my 89 year old mother's house in Port St. Lucie. The catch was we live in Salt Lake City, UT. So the house was unoccupied for most of the year. When we went to sell it my mother met with Doug and they made arrangements for him to list it. Soon after that she went back home to Utah. We had several showing immediately, and in no time we had an offer. But during the inspection process several items were found that needed repair that my mother knew nothing about. These included a roof leak, skylight leaks, broken roof tile, and dripping plumbing fixtures. In fact, at the time of inspection when the inspector opened the dishwasher, hundreds of bugs came running out. Doug took it upon himself to go over the next day and spray and vacuum up all the dead bugs. He also arranged for an exterminator to come in and spray the house. On top of that he arranged for the roofing contractor to repair the roof, a painter to paint the walls, and a plumber to repair the fixtures. He was not only our realtor, but became our project manager. He would go over to check on all work being done on a regular basis, and always kept us informed of the progress. We could never have done this from Utah. How many realtors do you know that would do this for no extra money? In fact, Doug would often pay the subcontractors out of his own pocket to get the work done right away. For these reason, and so many more, I highly recommend Doug Rooks. His integrity is without question, his professionalism is superb. We never would have sold our house without his help. Thank you Doug.
